All I can say is wow....this city is grande, noisy, rainy, sticky, dirty, creepy, and i'm out of adjectives. However, I have completed my mission here. Everyone I have met with has been polite and respectful. You feel the political clashing vibes and the people want to voice their opinion at every opportunity. Unfortunately, this country is headed towards socialism and no matter how loud they yell, their voices are ignored. Maybe its the spiteful vibe against the government that creeps me out, can't pin point it yet. The Copa Americana is being held in Venezuela this year and starts June 26...mad excited for some futbol action on ESPN finally. Spotted some rad stencils in the streets...i risked my life to take these so you better appreciate knuckaasss....

El Yunque
First day off in PR and spent my time with Cynthia, her bro Juan Carlos, and some others along the way. First, we went to the rainforest, aka El Yunque. This amazing natural site is only 40 minutes from the city of San Juan. The scents along the way were invorgorating and feeling the temperature drop during the drive up the mountain was refreshing. We hiked through a small portion of the park to an amazing waterfall which turns into a tourist water park. Apparently the water is really cold, but I wasn't trying to jump into the public pool, hehe. Proveche!

Isla del encanto
Waking up at 5:45 am, 2 security checks..damn liquid, empty seat next to me on flight, lamped out, ended up in La isla del encanto safely. Here I am, first stop on this bizznasss tour of Latina Americana. Stepped out of the airport realizing my phone wasnt where it should have been. Donde esta mi celular? Some dude tried hustlin my phone back to me, thanks for the anxiety spike. The hotel is sweet, right across the street from the beach, and a king size bed. I could just imagine the grimey azz threesomes that went on in this boat. Maybe could fit an Asian family of four, actually 5 would work comfortably. The beach was righteous, smelled of the sweet leaf and sea salt. Tried to buy a towel in a surf shop but the kid told me he felt bad rippin me off so sent me to Walgreens!?! wierd. Caitlin if you are reading this, I hear they are hiring in the pharmacy dept., however abrasive latina biatch attitude required. Anywho got one pic today that brought brewed some nostaglia of my video watching days with Aunt Nan..JAWS! Mofongo anyone. My belly is empty. Besos!
